Reno National Championship Air Racing
2002 Preview: Pylon Racing School
Reno, NV - June 27-30, 2002
Each September a mass of aircraft, pilots and ground crew gather in the Nevada dessert to test their skill and luck against one another in a duel of octane and adrenaline.  This is the fastest motor sport in the world-- This is air racing.

But before the pilots take to the course in September, they are first required to participate in a 4-day seminar on racing tactics and safety.  This is the only school of it's kind and draws pilots from all over the world.  Each year several veterans of air racing also turn out, as this is the only chance to fly the race course other than the September showdown...
