Reno 2000 saw some new stars shine, but was also witness to several veterans side-lined due to mechanical trouble.  Tiger was one of many who watched Sunday's race from the pits instead of the cockpit.  After burning a couple cylinders during qualifying early in the week, the crew worked diligently to ready the bird for the weekend.  However, lady luck was not Tigers ally this year and the mechanical problems moved further down into the engine, grounding him for the weekend.
